Mr Tri Homestay

Know the landlord

My little family has four people. My wife and I are farmers who also do housework and we have been hosting guests for several years. We are 50 year olds and we have two teenage children who are studying in high school. I lived in Russia many years ago and I now am a head of Bun hamlet. My hobbies are gardening and raising birds.

About the homestay:

Our family lives in a Muong traditional stilt house, which is considered a tangible heritage. You can get an overview of the ethnic Muong’s life and culture from the simple and unimposing stilt house.

You are welcome to join us and experience the rustic life by participating in our daily activities, having family dinner with our special local wine.  You can take an eco – tour around Moc Chau, which is a pretty town, or visit the amazing hamlets nearby to learn about our many unique customs, including local dances, ancient folk songs, rites and festivals that will give you many awe-filled moments.

I have a shared sleeping place with private mattresses being able to accommodate up to 10 persons. The bathroom is shared at downstair and there is a shower with hot water running.

The weather in Moc Chau is mostly cool to chill then we dont have air conditioning. The warm, clean blankets are provided instead. You will have private mosquitoes too.

We can provide meals with local ingredients if being requested in advance.
