HCM City Tourism Department in collaboration with the Tourism Association will hold an international culinary festival at the water park Le Van Tam from 15-18 December 2016.
With the theme "The Art of multi-sensory cuisine" Food Festival in 2016 will take place from 15-18 / 12, at Le Van Tam Park (District 1, HCMC), with the participation of about 150 booths from 20 countries.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Hoa, Deputy Director of the City’s Department of Tourism, Chief organizer of the festival, said: "Festival delicacies this year will elevate the quality, aim to promote travelers’ cuisine experiences”
Besides promoting cultural features traditional cuisine of Vietnam, the festival will bring to customers new trends of world cuisine. Organizing committee expected, the festival will create synergy with the activities of distinguished culture, attracting a large number of international visitors to Ho Chi Minh City at the end of the year ".
Besides, Countries’ culinary delicacies Festival also took place this year with many special activities such as introducing traditional culinary craft villages, introduction of wine, beer and water, cooking Korean food, grow culinary art exhibitions, programs converge Vietnamese coffee ...
At the festival, there are also competitions: Festival 5-star Chef, traditional delicacies implementation countries, outstanding performance, stalls...
Accordingly, in the program operation processing performances and cuisine at the booth takes place from 9 am - 22 hours. The organizers will build regional "common home cuisine Ho Chi Minh City" introduces the special dishes, typically from 24 districts.
In particular, the organizers will create conditions for poor children and disadvantaged to experience, interact and enjoy free food at the festival.
The main food booth will be divided into 5 areas represents multi-sensory art of cuisine: sight, smell, touch, taste, hearing ... Each region brings a distinctive look of enjoying different dishes offers the perfect experience for visitors to participate.

In particular, the highlight of the festival this year is the Festival program 5 star chef with the participation of 20 5-star hotel and two high-end restaurants in the city area.
